The days before Easter this year were filled with anxiety in anticipation of an escalation in the dreadful war in Ukraine, which I spent engrossed in a body of material for an extended electronic composition. Together with a friend (though separated in space – me in Stuttgart, Germany and he in County Clare, Ireland), we held a musical Easter watch, holding Ukraine and the wish for peace there in our minds. On this beautiful sunny Spring day, I formed these remnants of the past few days, and wrote:

"The promise of Life and the Reality of Death and Destruction in Ukraine."

Produced with iOS in AUM and Logic in a using a wide spectrum of sound sources and effects: especially opsix native on the Mac, with FRMS, Spacecraft and Borderlands on the iPad running through SpaceFields, Gauss Field Looper and Enso Looper, among others.
